Harold and Janelle Pharr (left) started Pharr RVs in 1969 with 3 Silver Streak trailers. They chose Silver Streaks because of their outstanding quality. The Silver Streak featured true aircraft quality construction; it was the only manufacturer of an all-aluminum trailer that built its own roof bows, door jams, and floor channels, an outstanding demonstration of quality control. At the time, Silver Streaks did not come with the awning or air conditioner installed by the manufacturer.
When Harold received the first Silver Streak, he installed these components, cleaned it himself, and sold it in the same day. This display model 1971 Silver Streak 2400 Series (right) was the smallest Silver Streak available at the time. This RV was among the first sold by the Pharrs. Pharr RVs bought this RV back from its original owner in 2008.
